It is one of the Lowcountry’s best concert events – a night of not only hits, but the stories behind the songs by the ones who wrote them.
Tuesday, October 28th, experience the 8th annual WEZL “Evening with the Stars” at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center. This year’s MUSC Children’s Hospital benefit concert is sponsored by Hagemeyer North America and features...
Big & Rich
Craig Morgan
Scotty McCreery
Big Kenny and John Rich are about to release their fifth album. The new release includes the smash hit “Look At You.” Along with being a former member of the band Lonestar, John Rich is one of Nashville’s top song writers, having penned five number one songs, including “Redneck Woman” for Getchen Wilson, and two of Lonestars number one hits.
Scotty McCreery is the American Idol Season 10 champion. The North Carolina native has recently released his third CD on Mercury Nashville entitled “See You Tonight.” The title track became his first top ten hit, and also includes his new single “Feelin’ It.”
Craig Morgan has had 17 hits songs, six of which charted in the top ten, including the number one smash “That’s What I Love About Sundays.” The new single from this Black River Entertainment artist is “We’ll Come Back Around.” The Grand Ole Opry member also performed at last year’s “Evening with the Stars” event.
The WEZL “Evening with the Stars” is an acoustic concert where our three stars share the stage, taking their turn at telling the story of each hit song they perform. This intimate night will bring you even closer to these artists and their music.
One hundred percent of the ticket sales from “Evening with the Stars” goes to MUSC Children’s Hospital, an organization near and dear to WEZL. Over the past six years, WEZL has raised more than $1 million dollars for the hospital.
