This concert combines, Southern Soul, R&B, and Old Skool Hip Hop. It will be 2 shows in 1. An experience the Low Country will truly enjoy.
Headlining the show, “The new R&B King OF Swing”, Tucka. Over the past few years, this southwest Louisiana native’s music was influenced by the sounds of zydeco and the R&B greats such as Otis Redding, Sam Cooke and Jackie Wilson. Tuck’s latest “Forever Swing” Features Doug E Fresh, who will also perform.
The original human beat box, Doug E Fresh is the New York old skool Hip Hop artist known throughout the world as one of the best mixers as well as entertainers.
Also performing with this star studded line-up is Sir Charles Jones. “The Love of music is the most important reason for being a performer,” states the talented Sir Charles Jones. Born in Akron Ohio, yet raised in Birmingham, Alabama where is actual singing career begun.
This self-taught writer, arranger, producer and engineer has embraced a genuine passion for music, ranging from jazz to fusion; Gospel to blues. Sir Charles Jones will perform such hits as “Is Anybody Lonely”, “For Better or Worse”, and “Just Can’t Let Go”.
